Questions Most Asked About Permanent Make-up

What Is Permanent Make-up?

Permanent make-up is cosmetic Tattooing. Hypo-allergic pigments are inserted into the dermal layer of the skin. There is no fragrance, emollients or other ingredients added. Although techniques may vary, the results are always the same - permanent waterproof colour, hassle-free and always fresh.

Permanent make-up is for men as well as women

Does It Hurt?

There is minimal discomfort. A topical anesthetic may be applied. Some clients feel absolutely nothing except a prickly sensation.

What If I Don't Like It? “Impossible”

You have total control. No procedure is started without your approval on design and colour. You will be fully aware of where each implant is placed.

How Long Does It Last?

For years! It is difficult to say just how long a procedure will last, this depends on each individual person, the colour will fade over time and will just need a colour top up.

Does It Look Natural?

Very natural. Your friends would never know the difference unless you told them. The idea is to look tastefully made up without going over the top.

Is There Chance Of Infection?

Only if you do not adhere to aftercare instructions. Lasting beauty follows strict sanitation and sterilisation requirements which far exceed any requirements. All needles and tubes are new and sterilised, they are checked by yourself and opened in front of each client.

How Long Does It Take To Heal?

Between 5-7 days depending on the procedure. The day after the procedure, a light crust will form, this will be slightly visible but usually never enough to be noticeable. The crusting will fall off in a few days. The colour will then look lighter and more natural.

Who Will Be Performing My Procedure And Qualified Are They?

Michelle Bramley is a qualified specialist, she continually updates her knowledge in this field and always keeps the highest standards.

How Do I Choose The Right Technician?

Before choosing your technician, make sure you ask the following: Do they specialise in Cosmetic Tattooing? What experience does the technician have? Can you see people that she has actually performed procedures on? Can you talk to those people? can you see before and after photographs? can you visit the premises and look at the cleanliness of the premises? Remember this is Cosmetic Tattooing and you need to be sure excellent hygiene standards are in force. Are you able to contact that technician if you encounter any problems? The answer to all these questions is “YES”. If you choose a technician who operates a mobile service do you have any details about her?
